刘永明,男,1977年5月生,河北邯郸人,博士,湖南省***人选、“湖湘学者”特聘教授。现任Journal of Bridge Engineering副主编、《重庆大学学报(英文版)》编委,任“中国商用大飞机项目”机体疲劳可靠性方面咨询专家,曾12次担任国际学术大会分会主席或做特约报告,同时兼任美国土木工程协会等5个专业学术委员会委员。

一、教育背景

1999年6月在同济大学获结构工程学士学位,2002年6月在同济大学获结构工程硕士学位,2006年5月在美国范德堡大学(Vanderbilt University)获土木工程专业博士学位,2006年至2007年在范德堡大学从事博士后研究工作。

二、目前研究领域或主要研究方向

一直致力于结构可靠性、结构生命周期性能预测、疲劳断裂、不确定性信息处理等方面的研究工作。
